Highland Hideaway

about us

Welcome to Highland Hideaway Experiences!

Founded in 2024 by our family—Trevor, Julie, Ashleigh, and Matthew—Highland Hideaway is a dream brought to life after a profound journey. Our story began with a near-death experience when Trevor was diagnosed with a rare cancer. That pivotal moment inspired us to embrace every day to its fullest, and we realized our passion for farming and nature could bring joy and learning to others.

who we are

Nestled in the heart of the countryside, our farm is more than just a place; it’s a sanctuary where families can come together to explore, connect, and create unforgettable memories. We offer a unique opportunity for guests of all ages to engage with our beloved animals, breathe in the fresh country air, and immerse themselves in the beauty of the natural world.

At Highland Hideaway, we take pride in our charming residents. Meet our friendly Highland cattle: Cupcake, Apollo, and Jock! These gentle giants are always eager to greet visitors and share their sweet personalities. Whether you’re feeding them a treat or learning about their unique history, you’ll quickly see why Highland cattle are such a cherished part of our farm.

But that’s not all! We also have adorable baby sheep, playful goats, lively piglets, and clucking chickens, each contributing to the vibrant life of our farm. From hands-on experiences like bottle-feeding the piglets to watching the goats frolic in the pasture, there’s always something delightful happening here.
